Simmer Solar, LLC will be hosting a neighborhood meeting for the proposed Simmer Solar Project from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Red Oak Hall, located at 12 2nd Ave., Alberta, VA 23821.  The project is proposed on parcels 39-7 and 39-37, located on the north side of Shining Creek Road, between Interstate 85 and Meherrin River Road.  

This is an informal meeting giving Simmer Solar the opportunity to present the project and residents the opportunity to ask questions and express their views as part of the application process for a Conditional Use Permit with Brunswick County.  If you have any questions, please contact us at SimmerSolar@exus.us.
